October 21

I know, I know. A day late again. But I was holding off on the hopes there would be some official announcement on my newest project that I could trumpet to the proverbial heavens. Alas, only rumors remain… though the rumors are swirling, particularly over at TOR universe. Of course, I can’t comment on said rumors. At least, not yet.

But I kind of needed the extra day off to recover from VEGAS, BABY! I actually came back with money in my wallet on this trip. I kicked some serious ass at the cash tables in poker, held my own in blackjack and made a nice little recovery in craps after getting crushed the first couple days.

My golf game, however, was a mess. I’ve got some kind of sciatic/hamstring/hip pain going and I’m not hitting the range enough. Sucks, because I just shaved a couple strokes off my handicap in the last couple months (down to a 7.1, thanks for asking). Now I’m going to creep back up if I can’t figure out how to stay sharp while hitting less balls. (Okay, everyone who isn’t a golfer get your filthy minds out of the gutter!)

I also had an update from the fine folks at the EU Cantina on the progress of my website redesign. It’s looking good… good enough that I might finally be able to remove a couple questions from my FAQpage. (Check it out if you don’t know what I mean. It’s somewhere near the bottom. You’ll know it when you see it.)

So, between the new website and the big announcement there’s a lot of cool stuff coming down the pipe. Plus, the NBA season is starting up again. (Good thing, because the Chargers are stinking it up right now. But I still think they can turn it around.)

I’m pretty stoked for the NBA season, because I think the Spurs are poised to make a good run this year. They’re a little under the radar, which is right where I like to see them. Let the Lakers and Heattake all the headlines; we’ll see who’s still standing in June.

Okay, that’s it for now. If you sent me an e-mail, just be patient. As always, I’m a couple weeks behind and trying to catch up.
