December 5, 2010

Well, I was hoping to debut my new website this week, but we ran into a few technical problems. Basically, I cobble together my webpage in a word doc, then cram it up onto the interweb – probably the worst possible way to manage a website.

Fortunately, the folks over at EU Cantina are helping me move into the modern internet age with a new website design that is visually appealing, and has some cool and flashy tech. We just need a few more days to update my process and we’ll take it live.

So, here is my solemn promise – next week, on December 12, 2010, I will unveil my BRAND NEW website design! And because you’ve been patiently waiting for so long, I’m going to give you a preview of the new website design: click DEMO to see a rough draft of the new homepage.

In other news, the Mass Effect Child’s Play Marathon was a HUGE success. The dedicated team over at g33kWatch raised over $13,000 dollars for this great charity, with the help of generous donations from great fans like you. And remember, even though the marathon is over, you can still donate to Child’s Play at any time. Sick kids; help them out. Even Republicans can support that. (Relax, people… it’s just a joke!)

Finally, I still don’t have a solid estimate on when we’ll be able to announce my new “secret” project. But by the next update I hope to have some useful information. Of course, given my track record on getting things done (like updates and new websites) don’t be shocked if I fail miserably.

PS: Go, Spurs, go! We’re one-quarter of the way through the NBA season, and the Spurs have the best record in the league! I just hope they can continue this pace through the rest of the season, when the schedule gets a fair bit tougher.
