Next update POSTPONED TO JUNE 12<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Sadly, my Spurs are out of the NBA playoffs… but at least A Minor Malevolent Spirit and Other Tales <\/a>is on sale now!<\/p>\n

Well, it’s on sale at the Amazon Kindle <\/a>store for 3.99. It’s going to be a couple more weeks before it’s available on other ebook formats, and it will probably be about the same time for the print version (which will be 7.99).\u00a0Just go to the\u00a0STORIES <\/a>page on my website to learn all about this 10-story collection of fantasy, horror and sci-fi tales… or read an excerpt here<\/a>!<\/p>\n

I’m already seeing some sales coming in, but so far no reviews… though it’s only been 1 day, so I guess that’s to be expected.\u00a0In a few weeks – once the print version and other ebook formats are available – I’ll be holding a little post-release contest to thank all the fans who bought a copy of the book! Not sure of all the details yet, but I’m thinking I’ll do something where anyone who posts a review\u00a0(on Amazon, Goodreads or wherever!) will be entered into a random draw for some cool prizes. I’ll be sure to\u00a0let everyone know all the details\u00a0in my next update.<\/p>\n

Until then, I’ve got some interviews and podcasts scheduled; I’ll be mentioning those on my Twitter<\/a> feed as they go live. And I’ve got family coming to visit next week – my Mom and my cousin are coming down from Canada to see us in Texas! Of course, the forecast calls for rain every day they are here. I know we’re in a drought, so I shouldn’t complain, but I always feel like folks don’t get the real Texas experience if it isn’t HOT when they come to visit.<\/p>\n

And tomorrow (Saturday, May 16), I’ll be at the Igo Library in San Antonio for Star Wars Reads Day<\/a>. I’ll be chatting with fans, taking photos and signing books, games or anything else people want me to scribble my name on. I’m also going to bring a few goodies along to hand out.
