The new website is up and running! Of course, if you’re seeing this you already know that. And if you’re not seeing this, then I guess I’m just talking to myself. I’m alive! Sweet merciful Maker, I’m alive! That’s right – I survived the San Antonio Rock ‘n Roll Marathon on Sunday. I finished my 13.1 mile run with a time just under 2:22 – about 12 minutes slower than the Vegas run last year. But I’m still happy with the result: I didn’t train as hard, the course was tougher than Vegas (more hills and turns), and it was way more crowded.
Mini-update. I’m leaving tomorrow for the San Antonio Rock ‘n Roll Marathon. I tried to convince my brother-in-law we should skip it, but he’s determined to make me suffer.
Interesting times here in the US. It’s election season, and the Republicans made a bunch of gains in the House and the Senate. I was hoping US voters would realize the Republicans spent 8 years flushing the economy down the toilet and give Obama and the Dems a little more time to fix it, but I guess I overestimated the maturity of the American voter.
